Our first visit under new owners and we were nervous the high food standards of the previous owners may not have been maintained. We needn't have worried as the food was on par or even better than before. Improvements have also been made to the decor, however the paper tablecloth coverings seemed to dampen the experience, although the need was understandable. Table service was prompt, the food was prepared pleasantly quickly (but not worrying so), and prices were reasonable. The butter chicken was delicious, as was our lamb and chicken dish. We'll be back. Well done to the new establishment and we wish you well.

We recently ordered takeaway from Mumtaaz Indian Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with authentic flavours and cooked to perfection. The spices were balanced beautifully, and the portions were generous. What truly stood out was the outstanding service provided by the head chef, a talented and passionate lady who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She took the time to explain the menu, tailored the dishes to our preferences, and even added a personal touch to the experience. Her dedication and warmth made us feel valued as customers. This is hands down one of the best Indian takeaway experiences we've ever had. Mumtaaz is a gem, and we’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend!

Great food and presentation. Wait staff seemed new and forgot an order then told us we didn't order it. But were friendly. Chef special goat was not great but everything else was good.

Good and fresh food. Will recommend, however, with caution because disappointed and concerned about some false advertising - Kashmiri naan is advertised with dry fruits, nuts but all we had were dessicated coconuts and bindi do pyaza lacked any flavour or punch. Would rate higher if these were rectified.
